Provision of Safe Water to Rural Communities
Through the project ‘Provision of Safe Water to Rural Communities’ Gram Vikas established a technical collaboration with One Drop to ensure injection of small amounts of chlorine through a Brine Based Electrochlorination system into the pipelines. This was to address bacterial contamination.
The project aimed to provide safe water through installation of mechanised chlorinators, which will ensure adequate dosing of chlorine in the drinking water rendering them almost free of bacteriological contamination.
